Man Fatally Shot By Security Guard At Walgreens

An investigation is underway after a security guard fatally shot a man during an altercation outside of a Walgreens Tuesday night.
Officers responded to a disturbance/ shooting call on the 300 block of Uvalde Road around 8:09pm.
When officers arrived they found a man unresponsive in the parking lot from a gunshot wound.
According to reports Michael Luna brought his 12 year old daughter to the Walgreens and parked in front of the building.
The security guard asked the man to move his vehicle and some sort of altercation began.
At some point Luna exited his vehicle and began punching the guard multiple times in the head.
The security guard then pulled out his weapon and disarmed it striking Luna several times.
Emergency crews arrived and pronounced Luna dead at the scene.
The security guards name has not been released but investigators said he was a licensed employee at Integrity Global.
The security guard is cooperating with police and no criminal charges will be filed at this time.
