Man Faces Charges of Child Grooming After Allegedly Contacting Pilot Point ISD Students on Snapchat
Angelo N. Barone,25, has been arrested for allegedly engaging in criminal behavior, specifically Child Grooming under Texas Penal Code 15.032.
On October 3, 2024, the Pilot Point ISD Police Department was notified about allegations involving Barone and three high school students from Pilot Point ISD, which reportedly began in September 2024.
The PPISD Police Department promptly began an investigation that led to Barone being arrested at his job on October 14, 2024.
While investigating authorities learned that Barone had been communicating with all three students, ages 14 and 15, via social Snapchat.
After the investigation Barone was arrested and booked into the Denton County Jail for Child Grooming. His bond is set at $20,000 with additional conditions.
