Man Convicted Of Having His Teen Son Rob & Fatally Shoot Rapper PnB Rock

42-year-old Freddie Lee Trone has been found guilty of felony murder. This was for the fatal shooting of rapper PnB Rock.

On Wednesday, a jury in Los Angeles, California, convicted him of murder, conspiracy to commit robbery, and two counts of second-degree robbery.

In September 2022, PnB was shot and killed inside of a Roscoe’s Chicken and Waffles, in L.A. He had been eating with his girlfriend.

Authorities say that Trone sent a message to his son, 17, to rob and kill PnB Rock. Trone is accused of coming up with a plan to kill and rob the rapper, and he was also said to be the getaway driver.

Tremont Jones was identified as a co-defendant, and he was found guilty of robbery and conspiracy.

Officials say that Jones told Trone that PnB was at the restaurant, where the rapper and his girlfriend were seated, and that Rock had on jewelry worth about $500,000. That jewelry had been removed from PnB’s body after the shooting.

At the same time, the supposed gunman is said to not have been competent to stand trial.

Another defendant, Shauntel Trone, pled no contest to accessory after the fact. She will receive her punishment on January 16.

Trone is set to be sentenced on August 27.

  1. Such a shame that some folks wont get a job they deserve everything they get no sympathy for people who rob or kill other’s period
