Police are searching for a man they say defrauded a woman he met online out of $80,000 to buy a home in Georgia. 
According to Gwinnett County police John Martin Hill,35 has been accused of lying and conning a woman he met online out of money.
A woman told police she met Hill on match.com and he told her he was a millionaire.
The woman said she began dating Hill quickly and within a week he had convinced her that he loved her and asked her to marry him. 
She said yes and the two talked about buying a home so she gave him $80,000 towards a home and furniture.
The woman told police that after she gave him the money he cut off all communication with her. 
Police opened an investigation and discovered that Hill was living in Duluth with a woman and young child, recently bout a 2014 bmw and has changed his name 5 times within the past 2 years.
Detectives have an active warrant for Hill and believe he has scammed other women in Virginia, Delaware, Maryland and New Jersey.
