A 40-year-old man has been charged with trafficking a child after a 16-year-old runaway was found at a motel in west Fort Worth.
The Tarrant County Human Trafficking Task Force received word that a 16-year-old girl, who had runaway from her home in Mansfield, was spotted in an online sex ad.
Detectives were able to trace the location of where the ads were being posted from to the Fort Worth motel.
Under-covers responded to the ad and made contact in order to arrange a time and place to meet. When authorities arrived to the location, they spotted a man, 40-year-old Brandon Williams, leaving the motel room beforehand.
Williams was arrested and is being held in the Tarrant County Jail on a $100,000 bond.
