On Monday, 39-year-old Brandon Paramore was charged with murder in relation to the death of 79-year-old Christine Barsanti on Thursday, June 6.
On June 7, officers answered to a call of someone who was unconscious in the 2400 block of Meadow View Lane. They then found Ms. Barsanti inside her residence, deceased, after being hit by unknown object.
After authorities in Bedford looked at camera recordings from the victim’s residence, they saw a man come to the woman’s door and ring the doorbell. As Ms. Barsanti came to the door and spoke to him, the man asked to use her phone. When she denied his request, he still made his way inside her residence anyway.
Officers had already been familiar with Paramore because of previous occurrences. He quickly became a person of interest and was found and placed into custody on other charges on Saturday, June 8.
“Our thoughts are with Ms. Barsanti’s family who have been supportive throughout our efforts to bring her justice,” stated Deputy Chief Bobby LaPenna.
Paramore will be taken to the Tarrant County Jail where he will be arrainged, and his bond will be set.
An investigation is ongoing.
