55-year-old Ronnie Black has been apprehended and charged with child molestation. This comes after he says that the victim, a girl younger than 10 years old, made him have sex and perform sexual acts on her.
Black is now being held in the Wayne County Jail, in Indiana, on felony child molesting charges.
If he is found guilty, Black could receive between 20 to 40 years in prison for the two charges.
Court records reveal that the matter came to light after the child complained to a teacher’s assistant that she was hurting in her private area.
The child was interviewed by Child Protective Services. It was learned that not only did Black sexually assault the girl, but he also took images and recorded the offenses and kept them on his phone.
Richmond police officers questioned Black who later confessed to having sex with the girl several different times. However, he said that it was the girl’s fault because she made him perform sex acts on her.
Black added that the images and recordings on his phone were done by the girl without his consent.
He was apprehended, and his DNA and phone were taken as evidence.
Black is being held on a $50,000 bond.
