50-year-old James Gina III, of Las Vegas, has been jailed after authorities say that he killed his girlfriend.
On Monday, close to 2:30 p.m., the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department answered to a call regarding a person who was possibly hurt at a home.
When authorities arrived on the scene, they found Gina and a deceased female.
Detectives say that Gina was the victim’s boyfriend and is the suspect in the matter. He was placed in the Clark County Detention center for open murder involving a deadly weapon.
The victim hasn’t been publicly named at this time. Additionally, the cause and manner of her death will be released by the coroner’s office.
