A man is in custody after he allegedly was seen attempting to break in to multiple vehicles in an apartment complex Tuesday evening.
Around 9:30 p.m. Grapevine PD responded to a call on the 1700 block of N. SH-26 regarding a male trying to get into unattended vehicles.
When authorities located the suspect, 23 year old Keyvionte Henderson, he got into his vehicle and tried to flee the scene.
Officers fired a weapon in an attempt to stop the suspect.
While trying to getaway Henderson crashed into an occupied marked patrol car and another vehicle. He tried to flee on foot and was later arrested and taken to an area hospital where he was treated for minor injuries and then taken into custody.
Henderson is being charged with aggravated assault against a public servant, evading arrest/detention, evading arrest/detention with a vehicle, duty on striking an unattended vehicle, and accident involving damage to a vehicle.
