Man Arrested In Connection To Shooting Death Of A Woman At A Garland Walmart Gas Station

A man was arrested Friday after he shot and killed a woman at a Garland Walmart gas station pump.
The incident happened on the 500 block of W. Interstate 30 when officers were called to the scene for a shooting.
When they arrived they found Jessica Watkins,33 suffering from a gunshot wound.
The woman was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
The woman allegedly approached the man at the gas station and some type of altercation broke out when the man pulled out a gun and shot her.
Officers later identified Aaron Hass,28 as the shooter and authorities were able to locate Hass by his license plate on the car he was driving.
He was later arrested on the 1500 block of Walnut Ridge Drive in Rockwall and remains in Garland custody on a murder charge with no bond.
