Man Arrested In Connection To Road Rage Shooting In Fort Worth

A 29-year-old man has been apprehended by officers in Fort Worth after being accused of a shooting on I-30, at the beginning of this week.

The incident occurred a little after 8:30 a.m., on Tuesday. Authorities say that the victim was traveling on I-30, close to Crooks Lane when they were shot.

Onlookers told officers that the shooting was a result of road rage.

The victim was taken to a medical facility in serious condition.

Curtis Medrano has been named as the shooter. He was apprehended and charged with aggravated assault with a deadly weapon and unlawful possession of a firearm by a felon.

Not a lot of information has been provided in regards to what happened before the shooting.

An investigation is continuing.
