Man Arrested For Killing Nassau Bay Police Sgt Kaila Henderson

The man accused of killing Nassau Bay Police Sgt Kaila Sullivan was arrested Thursday afternoon in Houston and charged with felony murder.
Harris County Sheriffs Office arrested Tavon Henderson,21 Thursday afternoon at a home on Heritage Trail in Houston without incident.
His grandmother also confirmed that Henderson’s mother was being detained by police as well.
Nassau Bay Police Chief Tim Cromie released a statement following Henderson’s arrest saying.
“We would like to extend our thanks to all the law enforcement personnel involved in the tracking and arrest of the suspect. We ask that you continue to keep Sgt. Sullivan and her family, as well as the officers and staff of the Nassau Bay Police Department, in your thoughts and prayers and continue to respect the privacy of the family.”
Henderson struck Sgt. Sullivan with his car during a traffic stop and she was transported to a hospital where she died from her injuries.
