A 59 year old man was arrested for DWI Wednesday night after crashing into a Dallas police squad car.
According to reports two officers were responding to a call driving eastbound on W. Ledbetter Dr.
When they started to make a left turn onto Marsalis Ave on a protected green arrow.
That’s when Eddie Goss,59 ran the red light and struck the police car.
He was driving a 2001 Chevy Blazer with three other individuals inside the car with him. A 24 year old woman and two underage children.
Goss also struck another vehicle that was stopped at a red light.
The officers were transported to a nearby hospital with non life threatening injuries.
Goss was given a field sobriety test and arrested for DWI.
The passengers inside the vehicle with Goss were unharmed.
