Man Arrested & Charged With Intoxication Manslaughter After Killing 72 Year Old Woman, Dallas TX

Fatality Accident on 4500 block of Avondale Road, On December 17, 2019, at approximately 10:28 a.m., the arrestee, a 30-year-old Ryan Crews was driving a black 4 door Audi northeast at the 4500 block of Avondale Road when he left the roadway and struck a pedestrian and a light pole. The 72-year-old woman, who was the pedestrian on the sidewalk was transported to Parkland Memorial Hospital by Highland Park rescue service. She died as a result of the injuries sustained from the crash. The arrestee was transported to jail for intoxication manslaughter. The name of victim will not be released until the next of kin has been notified.
