Man Arrested And Charged With Intoxication Manslaughter After Killing A Woman On A Sidewalk

A man has been arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter after he killed a woman on a sidewalk Tuesday afternoon.

Officers responded to a pedestrian struck call on the 7100 block of Hunnicut Rd and when they arrived they found Raquel Flores,44 unconscious on the sidewalk.
When emergency crews arrived to the scene Flores was pronounced dead at the scene.
According to reports Christopher Jackson,36 was speeding when he drove up on the sidewalk and struck Flores and then crashed into a tree.
After crashing he jumped out the car and fled the scene before officers could arrive.
He was later arrested and charged with intoxication manslaughter and failure to stop and render aid. His bond was set at $200,000.
