Man Arrested After Stealing Electric Shopping Cart From Walmart And Then Driving It To A Bar

A Louisiana man is being accused of stealing an electric shopping cart from Walmart and driving it to a bar down the street.
Terrebonne Parish Sheriffs office responded to a call around midnight when someone reported seeing a bar patron arrive to the premises on an electric shopping cart.
Deputies spotted the cart parked between two cars in the parking lot.
They went inside the bar and approached Brice Kendell Williams,32 and he admitted to stealing the cart because he thought he would get a DWI if he drove his own vehicle to the bar.
Williams was arrested and charged with unauthorized use of a movable and given a bond of $2500.
