Man Allegedly Tries to Breach Cockpit on Airplane out of Los Angeles; FBI Investigating

Crew members on a Delta flight out of Los Angeles are being praised for saving the aircraft.
A man allegedly tried to breach the cockpit on Friday, and the FBI is now investigating. Delta flight 386 left out of LAX at 11:30 a.m. headed to Nashville. While the plane was airborne, a passenger aboard the flight allegedly tried to reach the pilots. The suspect was zip-tied. Passengers on the plane were grateful for members of the crew that saved the aircraft.                                 
The flight had to be redirected to Albuquerque, New Mexico. It it made an emergency landing around 2:20 p.m.                                                                                         
After landing safely, the passenger was arrested by airport police and turned over to the FBI.                                                                                                          The FBI’s Albuquerque division confirmed that they were responding to the report of the diverted plane. They stated that there was no threat to the public.
