Macomb County Woman Charged With Arson After Viral Video Shows Her Setting A Jeep On Fire

After a video went viral of a woman allegedly setting a vehicle on fire a woman was arrested in Macomb County.
The incident took place at San Remo Apartments on Union Lake Rd., Harrison Township.
Twenty six year old Sydney Parham of Fraser was given a twenty thousand dollar personal bond, at 41B District Court of Clinton Township, after being charged with third degree arson.
According to authorities, at 8 A.M., Wednesday July 22nd, Macomb County Sheriff’s deputies had been dispatched to the apartments for where the fire had been reported. It was said that the fire had been intentional and that she had fled the scene. Once officers arrived, they located the vehicle, a black Jeep, on fire.
The Harrison Township Fire Department immediately responded and put the fire out.

No one was hurt in this incident. Officers spoke with several witnesses and were able to identify their suspect as Twenty six year old Sydney Parham of Fraser.
The vehicle owner and Sydney Parham were acquaintances as stated by officers.
