Dallas police are investigating after a local pastor was fatally shot.
The incident happened around 7 p.m. Wednesday, April 7, when officers responded to a shooting call on the 3400 block of Harmon Street.
Upon arrival they found the victim, Karl Hollins, 38 suffering from a gunshot wound. He was transported to an area hospital where he later died from his injuries.
Authorities are working to determine what led up to the fatal shooting. No suspect(s) have been arrested at this time.
Hollins held street service in South Dallas as well as a prison ministry. He also worked as a security guard.
He leaves behind six children.
This investigation remains ongoing.
