Krispy Kreme doughnuts are set to make their debut at McDonald’s locations across the country, and to celebrate this partnership, the bakery chain is offering fans a sweet freebie.

In March, the two companies announced their collaboration, with McDonald’s planning to serve some Krispy Kreme products. Starting October 15, select locations in Chicago will offer doughnuts, with plans to expand to 1,000 McDonald’s restaurants by the end of 2024 and eventually reach 12,000 locations by the end of 2026.

Currently, only McDonald’s customers in Chicago can enjoy the unique combination of chicken nuggets and doughnuts.

However, fans nationwide can join in the celebration. From October 10 to October 14, customers at Krispy Kreme can receive a free original glazed doughnut by presenting a paper or digital receipt from a McDonald’s order made during the same period.

Each day, three varieties of doughnuts will be delivered from Krispy Kreme to McDonald’s: the original glazed doughnut, chocolate iced doughnut with sprinkles, and chocolate iced kreme-filled doughnut.
