Killeen PD Are Investigating After A Person Was Arrested While Filming Police During A Traffic Stop
Killeen PD are investigating after a video went viral of a man being arrested while filming police during a traffic stop.
The incident happened on December 18 around 12:40am whole officers were conducting a routine traffic stop.
The police pulled over a vehicle that had a warrant out of Oklahoma, for discharging a weapon inside a home.
When authorities pulled the vehicle over they say they found a gun inside. The officers then proceeded to make sure no other laws were being broken.
The bystander started speaking with the passengers inside the vehicle and ‘created a safety hazard for all involved parties.’
The person, whose name has not been released, was arrested and charged with o strutting an officer.
In a statement, “The Killeen Police Department Code of Conduct requires our officers to preserve and protect the individual rights and freedoms of citizens. Due to the public interest in this incident, we will be conducting an investigation into the matter.”
