Keyshawn Johnson & Skip Bayless Engage In Heated Debate On ‘Undisputed’ Over The Future Of Dak Prescott
On Wednesday, 51-year-old former wide receiver Keyshawn Johnson called out Fox Sports star personality Skip Bayless on the sports talk show Undisputed for his take on the Cowboys.
The pair talked as Richard Sherman and Michael Irving weren’t on the program that day. They discussed a report that the Cowboys plan to extend Dak Prescott and whether the money spent on him is worth it.
Bayless argued that Dallas’s failures in the playoffs were mostly to blame on Prescott. That angered Johnson.
Johnson couldn’t believe that Bayless would blame Prescott for the same problems that the Cowboys have had for “30 years.”
“What you’re essentially saying is that it’s all Dak’s fault that y’all keep getting bouch from the Playoffs? Dak has played for the Cowboys for 30 years now? How can you say that?” Johnson questioned as Bayless responded with a yes.
Johnson stated that the Cowboys have had problems in the playoffs since Troy Aikman led them to a Super Bowl championship in 1996. He added that Prescott shouldn’t be blamed. It’s the entire roster.
“You are not running the football well, the o-line is in line and out the lineup, and your coaches are making bad decisions. But you want to blame Dak for all of this?” Johnson asked.
He ended what he had to say with stating that the Cowboys won’t be able to locate a more capable player on the open market than Prescott.
“They need to pay Prescott. They need to give him a new deal…You want to extend him.”
“You have to extend him to be able to sign Micah Parsons and be able to get in the Free agent market and make some hay,” Johnson stated.
NFL fans then took to social media and reacted to the heated debate.
“Keyshawn Johnson cooking Skip, that’s wild,” one fan wrote.
“Keyshawn stays with the heat on high! Lol. Skip looks cooked. They always go with the talent angle when you hit them with the more turnovers issues,” another stated.
