Juvenile Arrested After Fatally Shooting 20 Year Old During Home Burglary

Houston police arrested a juvenile in connection to the murder of a 20 year old male during a home invasion.
The incident happened on November 3 around 11:30pm on Kingslake Forest Drive.
According to reports the victim, Francisco Orozco lived with his brother and sister-in-law.
The sister in law had a medical emergency and had to be taken to an area hospital. While the brother and sister in law were gone, someone tried to break into the home.
Orozco contacted his brother around 11:30pm to inform him about the burglary. He then contacted police.
When authorities arrived the house was securely locked but a window was broken in the back.
The brother arrived at the same time police did.
When they entered the house they found Orozco fatally shot in a bedroom.
Authorities arrested the juvenile suspect a week later and recovered a pistol.
He was turned over to Harris County Juvenile Probation.
