Jacoby Jones, Super Bowl Champion, Dies At 40

Ex-NFL star receiver Jacoby Jones, who won Super Bowl XLVII while playing with the Baltimore Ravens, has died.

Information surrounding his death has not been released.

Jones was a third-round pick in the 2007 NFL Draft and was a member of several teams including, the Texans, Ravens, Chargers, and Steelers.

His career blossomed in Baltimore, and he is known for extraordinary plays in the 2012 playoffs, including catching a 70-yard, game-tying touchdown pass.

In addition to that, he had a 108-yd kick return touchdown in Super Bowl XLVII, the longest in SB history.

Jones retired in 2017 and went back to the college that he graduated from, Lane College, and became a wide receiver coach. Also, he coached at Morgan State, and in 2022, he became a part of Alabama State’s staff.

Not only that, but Jones was also featured, on season 16 of “Dancing With The Stars.” Then, he placed third with Karina Smirnoff.

Jacoby was 40 years old.
