Iowa Grandmother Killed During Gender Reveal Party

An Iowa grandmother was killed by an explosion at a gender reveal party Saturday.
A family of five and the expecting mother gathered together Saturday to reveal the gender of the baby when something went terribly wrong.
Marion County Sheriffs officers responded to a home when they received a call from a family member saying that a woman was seriously injured after a homemade gender reveal device exploded and struck her in the head.
When officers arrived they found Pamela Kreimeyer,56 laying on the ground and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
Detectives and The Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosions are helping assist with this investigation.
