Investigation Underway as Body is Discovered on Lake Arlington’s Shoreline

Arlington Police are conducting an investigation following the discovery of a body that washed up on the shores of Lake Arlington Friday afternoon.

Officers were called to the area near the 4100 block of Surfside Ct after a resident reported seeing a person floating in the water. Upon arrival, police found the lifeless body of an adult male, who was pronounced dead at the scene.

Authorities indicated that there were no visible signs of trauma; however, they believe the body “had been in the water for some time.”

No identification was located with the individual, and both Arlington police and the Tarrant County Medical Examiner’s Office are collaborating to establish the victim’s identity.
