Investigation Takes Place In Richardson ISD After Physical Assault Occurs On Special Needs Bus

The Richardson ISD, in Texas, is reviewing a matter of physical assault that occurred on May 8th on a bus carrying special education students.

Because of initial findings, the district has stated that a bus monitor has been terminated. Law enforcement officials have also been contacted through a document filed with Child Protective Services.

Additionally, the Texas Education Agency was informed of the worker’s misconduct after a report was sent to the State Board of Educator Certification.

No other information is known at this time, and the district is working with the Dallas Police Department as an investigation continues.
