Investigation Begins In The 2018 Death Of Alex Murdaugh’s Housekeeper

Prominent Attorney Alex Murdaugh and another lawyer plotted to take $4 million from the kids of his long-time housekeeper.

The housekeeper somehow died at the home in 2018.

On Wednesday, a lawsuit was filed against Murdaugh on behalf of Gloria Satterfield’s children.

Now, an investigation into Satterfield’s death has opened. Murdaugh had stated that Gloria tripped over dogs. She was in a coma for three weeks prior to her death. An autopsy has never been done.

Murdaugh promised to “take care” of her sons by suing himself and giving them $500,000 from personal liability insurance.

The lawyer that Murdaugh used was his friend. When several settlements that totaled $4 million was reached, no one informed the family. The family wasn’t given any money.

On Thursday, Murdaugh surrendered to authorities after planning his own shooting on September 4. He wanted to leave his surviving son insurance money after his other son and wife were killed in June.
