A newlywed was killed just 5 hours after saying “I do,” when a drunk driver crashed into their ceremony golf cart.

34-year-old Samantha Miller and Aric Hutchinson had their wedding on Friday night in Folly Beach, South Carolina. Following the reception, the newlyweds and 2 other guests left the venue in a golf cart-style vehicle that was decorated with “just married” signs and cans that dangled.

Jamie Lee Komoroski, 25, was traveling along the same road as the golf cart, going 65 MPH in a 25 MPH zone when she crashed into the small vehicle sending it tumbling for yards.

Miller was pronounced deceased at the scene while the other occupants sustained serious injuries, including brain injuries and broken bones.

Komoroski, who was allegedly driving while intoxicated, was charged with one count of reckless homicide and three counts of felony DUI resulting in great bodily harm.
