Inmate Found Dead In His Cell At Central Mississippi Correctional Facility

An inmate at the Central Mississippi Correctional Facility was found unresponsive in his cell Sunday morning.
According to reports an officer noticed David Lee May,42 in his cell while serving breakfast.
After several attempts of trying to revive May he was pronounced dead at the facility.
Rankin County Coroner David Ruth was called to the facility to transport May’s body to the medical examiners office for an autopsy to determine his exact cause of death.
May recently escaped prison with another inmate Dillion Williams,27 back on January 3 and was captured January 5.
He was serving a life sentence for two aggravated assaults.
