Infant Found Inside Hot Car In Duncanville

An infant was found locked inside a hot vehicle Monday in Duncanville.
Officers responded to a call of a child in a hot vehicle on the 900 block of Gemini Ave and upon arrival an officer located an infant locked inside a hot vehicle.
The officer said the infant appeared to be crying, sweaty and covered in vomit.
The officer broke the window, retrieved the infant and placed it inside his patrol car until emergency crew could arrive.
The mother was identified and arrived with the grandmother and two of the infants older siblings in the same vehicle the officers rescued the infant from.
Officers believe this incident was an accident but the case has been sent over to Child Protective Services.
No charges have been filed at this time.
