A newborn baby was found deceased inside a cooler on a Georgia road Sunday in Troup County.
According to reports the newborn was found on Boy Scout Rd near New Franklin Rd around 3:20pm.
Witnesses told authorities that the bag had been there for several days possibly a week. 
The baby has not been identified and an autopsy will be performed Tuesday to determine the cause of death.
This investigation is ongoing.
