An early morning traffic stop resulted in the arrest of 31-year-old Aaron Shey Miller by Gulfport police.
According to reports, the police officers pulled Miller over at around 2 a.m. on Tuesday.
Miller was asked by officers to exit the vehicle but drove away instead. The officers were able to catch up to the driver who then backed their car into the officer’s patrol car.
The driver threatened to run over officers and made another attempt to hit the officers but they were able to make an arrest.
Miller now faces charges of assault on a law enforcement officer and attempted injury of a public service animal, there was a K-9 officer in the patrol car.
The driver was booked into the Harrison County Adult Detention Center with a bond set at $510,000.
