A volunteer firefighter in Indiana recently received the shock of a lifetime when millions of dollars was accidentally deposited into his bank account.
Charles Calvin says he went to withdraw two hundred dollars out of his bank account last weekend and when he glanced at his receipt he noticed a few more zeroes than normal.
Calvin says he was expecting his $1700 stimulus money because the first round of payments went out Saturday but instead found $8.2 million in his account.
He says he contacted the bank Monday morning and was told that there was an error and the money was no longer in his account but the $1700 was deposited.
Calvin says “It kind of sucks, you go from being a millionaire one second then back to being broke again. But hey, once you’re poor you don’t have anywhere else to go but up”.
