Idris Elba’s Daughter Quit Talking To Him After Not Getting A Part In His New Movie ‘Beast’

Idris Elba has stated that his daughter, Isan, quit talking to him after she didn’t get a part in his film, “Beast.”

Isan had auditioned for the role of Elba’s daughter, but she ‘wasn’t right,’ for the role. Thus, Iyana Halley and Leah Sava Jeffries play the role of his daughters in the new movie.

Elba added that he left the responsibility to tell his daughter that she didn’t get the part up to producer Will Packer. Afterwards, Isan didn’t talk to her father for close to three weeks.

Eventually, the two made up and went to the film’s premiere together.

“She was very gracious about it, and we got through that, you know, and I’m really proud of her to go through that, not get the role, but still come to the premiere.”

“Beast” will be released on August 26.
