Husband Fatally Stabs Wife To Death at Texas Gas Station

A man is in custody after he fatally stabbed his wife to death while she worked at a Texas convenience store.

The incident happened Monday night around 9:30pm on the 400 block of Highway 146 south.

Officers responded to the scene and found a woman lying on the floor unresponsive with multiple stab wounds.

Emergency crews arrived and pronounced Crystal Lynn Patterson,36 deceased at the scene.

During the investigation officers learned that the victims husband, Brian Edward Miller,58 was responsible for the shooting. He fled the scene before officers could arrive.

Around 10pm officers received a call from a man stating that his friend had just told him that he fatally stabbed his wife while she was at work.

Officers went to Miller’s residence on the 900 block of Lane Road and arrested him without incident.

Miller is being held in the Texas City jail and waiting to be extradited to Galveston County jail. His bond has been set at $250,000.
