On September 30, 2021, 10 pounds of marijuana, over a pound of Psilocybin candy bars, an estimated 80 grams of Psilocybin mushrooms, 29 THC vaping pens, THC wax, prescription pills, a firearm, and money were located in a residence.

This occurred at about 6pm after a search warrant was issued on McDougal Street in Greenville, Texas. An investigation had gone on for a month after authorities kept seeing high school students going to a home and receiving narcotics.

“We will continue working in the fight against drugs in this community and will not tolerate drugs being sold to our children. My hope is that those effected by drugs will decide this is not the life they want.  I hope they will seek the help they need,” Sheriff Terry Jones said.

Two males were apprehended at the scene. Bryan Clyde Soles, 22, and Samuel Angel Pena, 21, have been charged with drug possession charges totaling a bond amount of over $600,000 each.
