Human Remains Found In Wooded Area Confirmed To Be Missing DISD Educator

The Dallas County Medical Examiner has identified the human remains found in a wooded area as the missing DISD teacher assistant.

Jennifer Mendez Olascoaga, 24 was last seen on September 27 leaving a QuikTrip on 175 and Beltline Rd after dropping a friend off at the Creekside Mobile Home Park.

The next day when Mendez Olascoaga did not return home nor call, her family filed a missing persons report. The next day the family found her vehicle on Lawson and Milam Rd., abandoned, while searching for her.

On October 12 officers were called to Interstate 20 and Lawson Rd where they found human remains.

The Dallas County Medical Examiner’s office has confirmed that the remains were in fact Mendez Olascoaga. Her cause of death has not yet been released.
