Houston police are investigating after they found a deceased mother laying on a couch next to her daughter that was fake sleeping.
Officers responded to a residence on the 4800 block of Jarmese Street around 4am Saturday morning.
Upon arrival they found two women they believed to be deceased inside the home.
While investigating officers learned that only one of the women were deceased and the other was pretending to sleep.
At this time it is unclear how old the daughter is and why she was playing dead.
This investigation is ongoing and authorities are waiting on a search warrant to check the residence.
