On October 2, 2021, at around 2:30am, a shooting occurred on Eastbound LBJ Freeway between Royal Lane and Plano Road.
When officers arrived on location, they found a Latin male who had been shot inside of a car. The victim was taken to a medical facility where he was pronounced deceased.
A little while later, another Latin male arrived at a hospital with gunshots injuries. He was identified as a person who was with the victim and was taken to the hospital by someone who had driven by the accident scene.
No further information has been given, and no one has been apprehended at this time.
