32-year-old Kianna Davis, a high school teacher in Georgia, has been arrested for the 2020 killing of a 2-year-old child.
Davis and Kiyon Devoy Benton have been charged with malice murder, felony murder, cruelty to children in the first degree, aggravated assault, and many other charges.
The two are said to have murdered 2-year-old Karter Ambrose who was hit with a sharp object sometime between Nov. 15 and Nov. 17 in 2020. Documents note that the child’s liver had been lacerated.
Davis had initially told police that the child was injured after jumping off of a couch. She also accused hospital workers of hurting the toddler.
