High School Senior Receives Over $1 Million in Scholarships and Acceptances from 58 Colleges

A high school student from Georgia is at a pivotal crossroads in his academic journey.

Mantavius Presley, a senior at Douglas County High School, has earned acceptance from 58 colleges and has received more than $1 million in scholarship offers.

Notable institutions that have accepted him include Morehouse College, Howard University, Mercer University, Xavier University of Louisiana, and The University of Alabama.

Affectionately known as “Lebron,” Presley also manages the cheer teams at Douglas County. He also holds significant leadership positions as the president of both the Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) and the National Honor Society chapters, in addition to serving as the vice president of his class.

The district emphasized that he has dedicated over 1,100 hours to community service.

“As graduation nears, Presley is thoughtfully considering his future options before making a final decision.”
