Henderson County Constable Charged With Drug, Gun, And DWI Offenses

On Friday, Henderson County Precint 4 Constable John Floyd, 58, was apprehended in Kaufman, Texas. Jail records show that he has been charged with drug, gun, and driving while intoxicated charges.

Floyd was placed in the Kaufman County Jail and charged with possession of marijuana less than two ounces, possession of a controlled substance in penalty group 2 less than one gram, unlawful carrying of a weapon, and driving while intoxicated.

Floyd has been a constable or deputy constable in Henderson County for more than 30 years.
