FGF Brands has issued a recall in collaboration with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) for more than 2 million doughnuts distributed throughout the U.S. and Canada.
The FDA’s report indicates that the recall includes 60 different types of doughnut products from FGF Brands, such as cake rings, paczki, fritters, crullers, and munchkins.This recall is due to the potential risk of listeria contamination.
Originally announced on January 7, the recall was later classified as Class II on February 5.
According to the recall announcement, the affected products were produced by FGF Brands and available in grocery stores nationwide. They were made before December 13, 2024, and are still within their expiration dates.
