Pittsburgh Steelers head coach Mike Tomlin has lengthened his record-setting streak for consistent wins.

Tomlin has now started his career with a record 17 consecutive non-losing seasons after the Steelers’ 30-23 win over the Seattle Seahawks on Sunday.

During this time, Pittsburgh’s record went to 9-7, and they took a winning campaign which is Tomlin’s 14th time in his career.

Not only is Tomlin making strides, but Pittsburgh has also completed its 20th consecutive season of .500 or better. This is the second-longest streak in NFL history. The Dallas Cowboys lead the streak with a 21-season streak from 1965-1985.

At the time of that run, Hall of Fame head coach Tom Landry was with Dallas. He holds the record of 21 consecutive non-losing seasons. This is followed by Bill Belichick with the New England Patriots (2001-2019) at 19, and Tomlin at 17, from 2017 to Sunday.
