With his many shows and restaurants, Guy Fieri has built an entire empire. However, he has guidelines for his children if they want a piece of his wealth.
Fieri has stated that his children won’t be getting any of his money unless they go to school.
“Shaq said it best. He said, ‘If you want this cheese, you got to get two degrees.’ Well, my two degrees mean, you know, postgraduate,” Fieri stated.
He stated to his family, “I’m going to die broke.”
Included in his family are his sons, Hunter and Ryder, and his nephew Jules who he has cared for since his sister passed away in 2011.
Fieri is the host of “Guy’s Grocery Games,” and wants to ensure that his children have a great work ethic. He, himself, has been a part of over two dozen Food Network shows. In addition to that, Fieri has 17 various restaurant brands, including Chicken Guy, Flavortown Kitchen, and Guy’s Fieri’s American Kitchen & Bar.
“Dad, this is so unfair. I haven’t even gone to college yet, and you’re already pushing that I’ve got to get an MBA? Can I just get through college?” Fieri said that his son Ryder, a high school senior, stated when he broke the news.
Fieri’s other son and nephew are already headed in the right direction. Jules is currently in law school, and his oldest son attends the University of Miami.
Fieri just signed close to a $100 million, three-year contract with the Food Network. In addition to that, he will also be the host of Guy’s Flavortown Tailgate at the next Super Bowl in Las Vegas.
