Gospel Singer, 75, Sexually Assaults Man By Tricking Him Into Taking A Fake Physical Exam

Albert J. Lewis is a 75-year-old gospel singer from Newark, New Jersey.

Authorities say that Lewis told a 41-year-old Congolese national that he could help him gain employment with New Jersey Transit. He provided the man with an address where he could receive more information. The location ended up being Lewis’s address.

The victim was then told that he would have to undergo a physical exam in order to ensure he would meet the expectations of the job.

As a part of the exam, the man was told to take off his clothes, during which, Lewis “committed criminal sexual contact” with the man.

The victim later contacted authorities, and Lewis was apprehended at his residence on Tuesday.

Lewis has been charged with criminal sexual conduct, unlicensed practice of medicine, and luring of an adult.
