On Wednesday, as President Donald Trump was impeached for the second time, Georgia Representative Marjorie Taylor Greene stated that she plans to impeach President-Elect Joe Biden.
Marjorie Taylor Greene represents Georgia’s 14th Congressional District, this also includes almost all of the northwestern part of the state after her winning the seat in November.
Marjorie stated in a tweet that she plans to move forward with the impeachment act after Joe Biden’s Inauguration Day and his first full day in office. “On January 21st, I’m filing Articles of Impeachment on President-elect JoeBiden. 75 Million Americans are fed up with inaction. It’s time to take a stand. I’m proud to be the voice of Republican voters who have been ignored.”
Marjorie announced this at the conservative cable news channel during a heated exchange about Trump’s impending impeachment and stating that she will be filing articles of impeachment for alleged abuse of power. She also released her statement of Democrats for their second impeachment.
Her statement is as stated-“Democrats are on record supporting violence when it serves their cause… Democrats’ impeachment of President Trump today has now set the standard that they should be removed for their support of violence against the American people.”
Georgia Congresswoman Majorie Taylor Greene, in recent months, has made headlines for going against CDC guidelines to wear protective masks, including when legislators were in lockdown during the siege on the capitol. As well as supporting the QAnon conspiracy theory movement, a known organization labeled a potential domestic terrorism threat by the FBI.
