Garland Police Still Searching For Murder Suspect

Garland police are still searching for a man who allegedly shot and killed his girlfriend inside her apartment while her two young children were there.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 2900 block of W. Walnut St Saturday evening around 9pm.
Upon arrival officers found two children crying and asking for help.
When officers entered the apartment they found the victim Anabel Rodriguez,33 suffering from a gunshot wound.
She was transported to a nearby hospital where she was pronounced dead.
During investigation officers learned that the victims boyfriend, Rodrigo Roman Villareal,40 was responsible for the shooting and was seen fleeing the apartment in a blue Mazda 6 with the Illinois license plate P393720.
Villareal is a 40 year old Hispanic man who stands 5’9″, weighs about 135 pounds and has black hair. He is believed to be armed and dangerous.
