Garland Man In Custody For Murder

A man is in custody after he shot and killed a man in front of a Garland residence.
Officers responded to a shooting call on the 5200 block of Stagecoach Ln around 7pm.
Upon arrival officers found the victim, Dominique Jones,26 suffering from an apparent gunshot wound.
He was transported to an area hospital where he was pronounced dead.
During the investigation officers learned that Kyhari Clines,26 was inside a residence near the scene and responsible for the shooting.
After several hours of attempting to get Clines to come out the residence he finally surrendered to Garland police.
He was arrested and charged with murder.
He was taken into Garland Detention Center where he remains with no bond.
